week 33

Well, here I am at week 33. The Dr said if I can make it to 34 weeks, I am good to have her whenever. Hopefully she will wait longer than that though. :)

28 weeks

28 weeks along now. I still have plenty to go, but being in the 3rd trimester, I am feeling it.

not consistent

WOW, has it really been nearly 4 months since I last posted?? I am the queen of procrastination!

For those of you who don't yet know, I am pregnant. We are very excited to announce that it is a girl! We will have the "perfect" family (if you can call it that): a boy and a girl. :) We are both nervous and excited about this pregnancy. I am now almost 23 weeks pregnant (just beginning my 6th month for those of you who don't want to do the math).

In other news, Cole has left his job at Pinnacle Security to try a hand at insurance. From what we have seen of it, it is a very promising job. It is more stable than what we were doing before, and though I will miss the traveling aspect and great income of security sales, I will not miss the instability and emotional toll it takes on our family. We have high hopes for this new job with Farm Bureau. I have come to the conclusion that it is a great company and after a slow start, the wheels will start turning faster and we will be doing well in a year. That is the optimistic view I have right now. We will see how it all pans out. Does anyone want a free quote on home/auto insurance? I know someone who could save you some money!! *wink wink*

Finally something to blog about!

Up until now, life has been pretty plain jane. Christmas was awesome, Dallin was spoiled with his new power wheels ride, Cole was too, with his new power tools, and I happened to get the one thing I expected the least. I was thinking maybe in a few years we could get one...but no. Santa brought it to me THIS year and I am SOOO excited to learn how to use it.

In other news, the one thing that has been occupying my mind more than anything, I am pregnant! Yay!  We found out a few weeks ago and the nurse at the clinic told me her best guess (without an ultrasound or anything) is that I am 7 weeks along and I am due on Sep 11. I sure hope she is not born on September 11! Yes, it is a girl. We have no proof, but both Cole and I just know it. And if it is not, I will be just as happy but I really do think it's a girl. 

Cole is so excited for this new adventure. He just cant wait for my tummy to start growing, to feel the baby kick, and everything in between. I, on the other hand am just waiting for the thought to settle in. It has not truly hit me yet that I am really prego. I mean yes, I am nauseous a heck of alot, always fatigued, and use the restroom much more often. But I just havn't felt that "ah ha" moment and I know it will come soon, maybe when I see an ob-gyn and get an actual sonogram. But it will hit me eventually.  More to come soon!
