Birthday Pie

My birthday was great! Sat night, Cole took me here which was delish.
The next day, Sunday, which was my actual birthday, we had a great adventure! A few days prior, I stumbled upon a berry tree behind our complex. I thought they were blackberries, but it turns out they are Mulberries. (I think). If I am wrong, I have poisoned my whole family, plus the McClellan family. oops. I feel fine, so I am assuming they were legit.

May I just say, I did not have any wax paper (I used 2 gallon sized zip loc bags), a rolling pin (I used the Pam spray can), shortening (I used olive oil), nor a pie tin (I used a tin from our Bahama Breeze leftovers....tacky, I know, but it worked!)...and after all that the pie still turned out!

And let me not fail to mention Cole's bday gift to me, a gift card to Nordy's which I already spent all of...the very next day.
